I have owned 2 previous Moulinex food mills and they were great. Unfortunately this one is very unstable, and smaller than previous models. It is lightweight plastic and moves around when you use it. Also, the discs actually fall out.

We're dealing with a tomato tsunami, so bought this to improve our juicing and saucing game. I've wanted one of these for a while. The first one arrived smashed into an unacceptably large number of pieces, however the refund was easy and immediate. I ordered another, which arrived in the correct number of pieces.The only criticism I have at this stage, is the handle flexes a bit in use. The bowl part feels good and strong and it sits nicely over a range of pots and bowls in our kitchen.The resulting juice is free of skins and other matter, although a few seeds did sneak through as the tomatoes we used have very fine seeds. This would not be an issue in traditional Roma style saucing tomatoes.

Was doubtful it would work when I looked at it, but it does what it says and mashed the blackberries for the seedless jam I wanted to make. Such a useful piece of equipment, makes jam making much faster and much less messier than using a straining bag and waiting hours for the last drop of juice to drain from berries. So glad I got this and highly recommend it. I will also try mashing potatoes and I expect it would be brilliant for making mashed swede, which is always difficult to get the lumps out of. Can highly recommend this vegetable mill!
