Muc-Off 20068 Tubeless velg - 17 mm

With about a hundred wheel builds in the history book, I’ve never used anything other than the competition by the company St#+s.Their stuff is great, but,,I almost hate to admit it, but this muc off tape, so far,may actually be better.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing this tape given the few negative reviews I read. Despite the negative reviews about adhesion I decided to take a chance with the tape believing the negative experiences may have been due to user error.I am very happy to report the adhesion of the tape is very good and gave me an airtight seal. I taped the rim on my very first attempt with no issue at all. My tire hasn’t lost any pressure after 3 days. So I consider this to be a success.My only advice I would give is if the internal width of your rim is 30mm don’t go with the 30mm tape. Go with the wider tape since the 30 mm doesn’t quite reach the inner wall of rim. This could potentially cause adhesion issues since not enough of the tape is stuck to the flat surface of the rim.I made such to go around the rim with my fingers to make sure the end of the tape was completely stuck down.

lies sich nicht wirklich gut kleben und hat nicht gut gehaftet. Da habe ich von Muc-Off etwas mehr erwartet.

Good quality rim tape, easy to apply. Seems to stick good.
