I like how solid this piece feels. Finished with black paint with clear white markings it is sizeable so not something you can stick in your pocket but the right size to be useful and it is good to have with you for it's other uses.I really like the built in size guide, it is very useful for finding the right size of drill bit or bolt quickly.The notches allow more than just angles to be measured and marked you can use this tool to mark some complicated designs using the inner markings.This has made all kinds of projects much easier from hanging shelves to mending fences.I think it will last a long time.And it stands, I forgot to mention it will sit vertically
