Well made bridge and nut made of bone as described. There is plenty of material in both parts to make adjustments to get the right string height. The nut is pre-slotted and matched, nearly exactly, the spacing on the original on my Simon and Patrick SP6. I needed to remove about 0.060inch from the base which got the string height just right across all the strings at the first fret. The bridge saddle is compensated and also matched the original on the guitar. I had to sand about 0.10inch from the bottom to bring the string height down at the 12th fret. The intonation was spot when I fitted new strings. The nut slot on my guitar was slightly wider than the bone saddle so I had to fit a shim to make sure the saddle sat upright to make good square contact with the base of the bridge. The bone saddle and nut have improved the sound of the guitar and the few hours of work needed to fit the items and set up the action were well worth the time spent. If your guitar has plastic nut and saddle which are past their best, consider replacing them with bone.
