At $32.89 for the set, these should definitely be upgrades for a lot of OEM pickups on budget-priced basses. These seem to be made well enough and the sound is perfectly decent.

This Jazz Bass Pickup set is a fantastic addition to my setup. These pickups are a nice upgrade over the ceramic pickups that came stock in my cheap J bass. They have a lot of clarity and the bottom end is tight and punchy. It's a great price for good pickups if you don't care about having a name brand on the cover.
