I needed a very specific size for my desk to cover a specific area and this was the only one I found. That being said it seems like a heavy duty product that will last a long time. As others have stated this is a stiffer product (more of a desk pad than a mouse pad) and it takes a while to completely flatten out. One day is not enough, apparently, but one hopes it makes it all the way to flat. The only knock against it is the much higher price than other comparable pads but the orange bag it comes in is quite impressive.

Tappetino da scrivania in ecopelle rivestito con una patina impermeabile, bordo ricamato con dello spago per il contrasto estetico ( puramente per l’estetica.) leggermente troppo sottile in confronto ai tappetini che uso di solito che sono di materiale sintetico più morbido. Tutto sommato è buono.

I got the Mydours PU leather (polyurethane leather, a type of synthetic leather) desk mat, thirty-six inches x 24 inches to hide the imperfections on the top of my 45-year-old butcher block table. The Mydours desk mat is one of four desk mat/desk pad/ gaming pads that I own. I am using the following desk pads as reference points to help me inform this review:1. The Cossini XL PU leather desk mat -- 36 inches x 15 inches, light brown2. The TIanWenYD rubbery desk mat -- 31.50 inches x 11.81 inches x 0.12 inches, black3. The Elizo GENUINE leather Desk Pad -- 32 inches x 16 inches, brownI will summarize the main takeaway from my comparison of the four mats using the words of two great philosophers -- Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Their profound saying, “You can't always get what you want … But if you try sometimes, you just might find … You just might find … You get what you need.” What I learned from their words is that one needs to work more at accepting compromises in life.So, let us refocus on the attributes of the Mydours PU leather desk mat – they are:1. A nice smooth surface with the perfect amount of friction to move a mouse ball like the faux leather of the Cossini desk mat. The Cossini mat has a grainier texture that imitates natural leather [There is a difference between the texture of PU and faux leathers however most manufacturers and sellers do not distinguish between these two types of “pretend” leather.]2. It looks and feels like high grade plastic, not at all like the faux leather of the Cossini mat and of course nothing like the GENUINE leather of the Elizo mat.3. The mat folded out flat as a pancake on the initial install.4. The mat stays in place due, in part, to its size and the “stickiness” of the reverse side – I not sure that the mat is reversible as stated in the marketing pages since it is a bit too smooth on the “Logo” side to serve effectively as the bottom – it depends on the application5. It is useful for other applications such as a work bench or craft table due to its size and versatility.6. Little to no manufacturing smell – the TIanWenYD desk mat is still giving off strong odors after a week on my desk.7. Not a true writing surface unless you have an EXCEPTIONALLY light touch but none of the other mats except for the Cossini mat were capable of single sheet writing.8. The Mydours folks shipped the desk mat in a genuinely nice orange carry bag with a PU strap to secure it in a rolled condition. I will not be carrying the mat from place to place so I will recycle the strap and repurpose the bag.I will use the words of Rudyard Kipling from his ode, In the Neolithic Age, to close this review: “There are nine and sixty ways of constructing tribal lays … And every single one of them is right." Each of my four desk pads have their good, bad, and ugly properties but they are all okay.In summary, I will grant the Mydours desk mat five stars. I like its size and functionality in terms of coverage and its compatibility with my mouse.

J'ai trouvé ce tapis de bureau de qualité correcte.Ses dimensions permettent de protéger une grande surface sur un bureau.Il est présenté dans une jolie pochette en velours avec une sangle pour l'attacher.J'ai trouvé dommage par contre que le dessous n'ait pas un revêtement anti-dérapant.
