-++A 100 feet of 16/2 gauge speaker cable, on a spool. That's a lot of cable! I used about 20 feet of the cable out in my garage. I have a sound system out there, I like to listen to it but, I never really took the time to do it right. I always wanted to replace the speaker wire that I used. I used what ever I could find, all I had was some old used, very light speaker wire. When I wired up my speakers with it, I was never really happy with the results. Nakamichi certainly used the best materials on this product. The outer jacket is very high quality, it encapsulates two individual color coded, stranded copper wire wrapped in a high quality jacket. The wire strands are marked every foot, that is well thought out feature that, both the home owner and professional installers will appreciate the quality of this cable. The cables are easily stripped exposing the stranded wire. I used stereo banana plus on the ends of the cables. made for a nice clean installation. Designed with materials to be installed indoors in walls and overhead in ceilings, or can be taken out doors and buried under ground. That makes this cable very versatile, I don't think many other wire manufacturers offer all that in a single product. I haven't seen that before. If you have ever doubted whether or not quality speaker cables matter to the end user, the listener, well cables matter. I could instantly tell the difference between the speaker wire I had recycled, and the Nakamichi cables. I have enough cale left , my next project will be wiring up some outdoor speakers next. I highly recommend This product for its quality and ease of use. I have to give this product 5 STARS!

Excellent materials and construction. The outer jacket is solid rubber and very flexible, so the cable works well both indoors and out. It's also marked by the foot, so it's very easy to know the exact length you're pulling. Inside, the wires are 100% stranded copper, which is far superior to the brittle CCA that you find in cheap wiring. I've had perfect signal transfer and sound quality from this cable, no complaints at all. All in all, it's great stuff that lives up to the Nakamichi name.

This is actually really nice cable. I stripped about an inch of outer insulation off of the end and stripped the inner insulation off the wires themselves to reveal the conductors. The outer insulation isn't permanently bonded to the individual wires, which is excellent. Upon exposing the conductors, I was surprised and amazed to find out that it's actually quite finely stranded 100% copper. No copper-clad aluminum or, (and yes I've seen this) IRON wire here!The insulation is quite flexible and rubbery, which bodes well for long-term life and ease of use. Overall, I'd say this cable is just as good as my current sheathed speaker wire that I paid quite a bit more for a couple years ago.

Build quality on this speaker wire is very good. The shielding, and OFC 2 conductor wire size is large enough to drive large speakers. This can be direct buried, or placed in wall. So far this wire has demonstrated good value, and high quality. I highly recommended this wire.
