I ride motorcycles but I suffer from allergies to pollen, ragweed, dust, animal dander, and other air pollutants. Under prolonged or heavier exposure, my asthma will flare up. This makes riding my motorcycle difficult in the spring and fall which have the best temperatures for riding!!-Compared to other gaiters-Every riding season, I begin my search for the perfect masking solution. I have tried many different gaiters and masks while riding. I need something very low profile that will fit and stay in place under my full-face motorcycle helmet. Most other products have no filter and are quite thin or have a replaceable filter that often adds bulk/thickness.This gaiter is EXACTLY what I wanted. A fabric weave filter that keeps the fabric thin, ear loops to hold the gaiter in place as I put my helmet on, and a nose bridge wire to better seal it to my face a limit helmet fogging.-Breathability and washing-I’ve worn it on hot summer days and cool fall days. It’s breathable enough for the summer and warm enough for the fall at riding speeds. I hand wash it so I can be gentle and preserve the fabric and the shape.-Summary-So far, having used it for motorcycle riding for about a year, it has been worth every penny! It allows me to ride when I otherwise couldn’t! So thankful!
