National Geographic Kompas

Bought this for my friend that’s going on a long trip with a campervan. Decided to do some tests but it failed miserably by not pointing north at all. Is has a variable offset for some miraculous reason so this thing is more than worthless. Having the NatGeo logo on it is deceiving. It’s probably mass produced in China and everyone can stick their logo on it. Incredible that this is allowed to be sold adobe some people really rely on it to get back to their starting point of a long bush walk or when navigating a map. It should be a crime selling this.

Very basic children compass, direction is good...build quality is low I got one with lots of bubblesI guess what you pay is what you get...

Manque un manuel d'utilisation, sinon, ca a l'air de la bonne qualité.

Mir gefällt dieser Kompass sehr gut.Eigentlich hatte ich mir diesen aus Nostalgiegründen bestellt, habe aber mittlerweile richtig Spaß dran.Ich bin viel unterwegs, nutze auch oft FußgängerNavi, um mich in Städten zurechtzufinden. Auf demplatten Land habe ich jetzt diesen Kompass ausprobiert und bin begeistert.In Zeiten des "slowfood" sollte man auch mal wieder oldschool-Wandern mit Kompass und Karte probierenund vor allem den Kids zeigen, daß es auch ohne (Nav)iPhone geht.Back to the roots! ;-)
