It was packaged in multiple boxes and pretty well protected with styrofoam. I noticed that other reviews talked about theirs arriving with broken pieces but fortunately that wasn't the case for me.I did notice that one of the little 'wires' near the elbow wasn't glued into the correct spot but as it's on the backside you can't really see it and it's also hard to notice unless you're really looking for it.Overall I'm very happy with this piece; even though it was a little small...
