Got this instead of buying a new iron as my old one the plate was very burnt and I was worried about leaving marks on my clothes. Easy to fit and works a treat.

We use it at an alteration shop on a spare iron when not using the big ironing machine.It does the job of protecting the iron, and the customers clothes well.However I just noticed some residue at the bottom of the iron protector, not sure what it is or was it caused by the protective cover itself, hence a star less.
