If you use this for normal photography, you will have to white balance offset the blue tint...once you do that you'll be okay. This product shocked me...I can see a dramatic difference in clarity...this stuff really does the job...it is my new favorite filter (SONY 50MM GM).

The purple hues in the stars, and the corners being cut off by the filter itself, it's not worth the money. I can do better without the filter & play in Lightroom with better editing, than using the filter. The filter did screw onto my lens ok and was able to put the lens hood on with the filter attached, no issues there. The filter really seemed to cheapen the photo out more so than if I just didn't have it on, you can see the stars that have a bit of a stretch/blur to them in the pic I attached, and overall quality of the picture was more grainy than without it. I edited to just brighten up the pic a bit to show the purples, it's not a decent pic by no means.Not worth the money in my opinion. The size I purchased was the 77mm to fit my Nikkor 24-120mm 1.4 lens, using a Nikon D750 camera.

This works remarkably well. I was worried it might only be effective for the nasty yellow of old fashioned sodium street lights, but it seems to work well for all warm coloured artificial lights that cause light pollution in the sky.It screws nicely onto my lens with no grinding and stays in place thereafter. The result of using it is a clearer, sharper image of the night sky that allows you to get more saturated colours without everything turning hazy and yellow.It's effective enough that you can gets shots of the night sky above artificially lit areas like towns and still get some decent contrast in the sky.There's very little in the way of unwanted side effects too. Everything else seems to come through perfectly well. Great bit of kit.
