I've had the opportunity to use the NEEWER 67mm Clip On CPL Filter with my phone camera. The product is advertised as being compatible with a range of iPhones. Interestingly, it worked fine on my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and Samsung Fold 6, so it seems to have broader compatibility than just Apple devices.Holding the clip, it feels quite sturdy. Compared to other clip-on filters I've come across, this one definitely gives the impression of being more durable and perhaps a bit more premium. This feeling likely comes from the way it's put together – there's an adjustable plastic clip with rubber pads (which is a nice touch for protecting your phone), and a metal knob that's designed to secure the filter firmly. The 17mm thread also makes attaching the filter feel smooth. One feature I particularly like is the adjustable knob. It allows you to really get a good, secure hold on the filter, so you don't have to worry about it shifting around while you're trying to take a shot.As for its performance, the CPL filter's effects were noticeable in my photos. It did a good job of cutting down on reflections, which made images look cleaner, especially when dealing with glossy surfaces or water. Colors also appeared more saturated, which is what you'd expect from a filter like this, giving photos a bit more pop.Another practical aspect is its versatility. You can actually attach another filter on top of it if you want to experiment, which is convenient. And since it uses a 67mm threading, you could potentially even use it with a standard camera lens, which adds to its value. With the price around $30, this NEEWER clip-on seems like a solid option if you're looking to add a CPL filter to your phone photography kit.

This phone camera filter is pretty cool. It is great quality. Its some kind of black steel material. You simply twist the lens to adjust your camera. It does make a difference in your photos and videos. I have an iphone and although it doesn't say that it is for iphones it still worked pretty well. It clips on and has a screw that you screw in to keep it in place. This could be the perfect tool for up and coming photographers because its easy to use and gives "im a apprentice photographer" feel while adjusting the filter. It makes photos/videos darker or lighter and adjusts however you like things to look. It also makes your pictures and videos look a bit more professional in my opinion. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to jazz up their picture taking.

First off, the filter works very well, extending the capabilities of phone cameras into SLR territory. Setting up is not as easy as it could be if the filter was less accommodating: for this filter to fit a large range of phones there are no notches or guards for easy positioning to align with the phone camera, so it is all open to your own adjustments to cover the camera’s field of view. The clamp has a strong spring, and the side that presses on the phone’s screen has a rubber pad large enough to distribute the pressure and avoid damaging the screen. Thus there is a disk area on the screen that is not visible and not accessible while the filter is on. The screw at the end of the clamp secures against accidentally opening the clamp, and for tightening the grip.Overall, the filter works well but the price to pay is a rather large, cumbersome attachment to the phone. Also, rotating the filter for the best polarization angle is not easy to do without obstructing the field of view of the lens, takes a bit of getting used to.

This is a must for outdoor cell phone video. I put this on and suddenly I didn't have blown out skies and clipping highlights. Amazing! It is really big and bulky and might not balance if you have a cheap gimbal for your phone. But boy is it ever worth it.The ND strength is labelled all around the ring so you can see what you're setting it to from any side which is brilliant. I didn't notice a drop in clarity at all for my video footage, just a lot better colors and highlights. The clip is fine. It's not my favorite but it is pretty universal and means you can use this even without an expensive case to mount filters on. And this filter itself is big enough you could easily use it on some mirrorless camera lenses too in a pinch (provided they have the right sized filter thread.Overall this is a must for anyone using their phone to video outdoors.

This filter works as it should, but you really do need to understand what it is and how it is used. This filter will reduce the intensity of wavelengths of light in a uniform manner, allowing you to use expert settings on your phone camera like you would with a traditional DSLR or SLR camera. You really don't need this if you use automatic settings on your camera. If, however, you are a real photographer and want something to clip onto your cellular phone to use pro settings, this will do exactly what you expect. The clip is solid and can be set with a screw that makes it so that it won't fall off if bumped. The clip is plastic, and the screw is plastic, so there is potential of it being damaged, but this is unlikely. The case it comes in is quite nice and has a zipper to keep it closed. This protects the filter and is a very nice addition.Recommended for photographers, but not for people who are not familiar with pro settings or SLR/DSLR cameras and the fundamentals of photography.
