All my Sony cameras have flip out screens, but this larger touchscreen is really great for filming 9:16 videos for social media and being able to remotely monitor what the camera sees. I haven't even begun to use all the features, but even just enabling the overlay to spot and avoid overexposure and using the grid pattern has helped take my videos to the next level. It's plug-and-play, easy to mount using any hot or cold shoe, it has excellent color accuracy & picture quality. The value for the money is debatable because you can get a full-size 24" or even 27" monitor for the price, but it would be unwieldy, couldn't be powered by battery, and wouldn't feature the same histogram functions. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this field monitor. I bought two and use them with a couple of Sony FX30s.

Got this monitor for my Sony A6700 and honestly, it made shooting so much easier. The screen is super bright and sharp, even outside in sunlight I had no issue seeing it. Touchscreen works smooth and the colors look great. LUT preview and focus peaking both helped a lot with getting better shots.Setup was quick. Used the HDMI cable from the box and it connected right away. No lag or weird issues with signal. The only problem is battery’s not included. I had to use a USB-C power bank at first, but ended up buying a couple NP-F batteries because it drains pretty fast on full brightness.One thing that’s a bit annoying is that when the overlays are on, the image doesn't use the full 7 inch screen. Looks more like 5.5 unless you zoom, but then you can't see the full frame. Not a big deal, just something to know.The cold shoe mount is okay, but with battery on it gets kinda wobbly. Probably going to switch to a better mount later. The build is quite decent for the price, feels light but not super fragile.If you’re shooting with a Sony camera and want a monitor that actually helps you see what you’re doing, this one does the job. Just remember to get the battery. I wish the seller had included it.

Nothing bad to say about this monitor at all. The colors needed a slight adjustment out of the box, but the NITS is insane in full sunlight. Absolutely no need for a sun shade and with a power cord on a V-Mount this thing made it through 2 events with zero issues.
