This thing is very sturdy for the price. It's nice looking too. The build quality is very nice. I'm using to support a small projector in my art studio, and eventually I'll add a light panel.

I used these with the Neewer ML300 flashes and the Neewer 2x6 rectangular soft boxes. They definitely help the weight of the flashes and the soft boxes. But after a couple days of use at a relatively tall setting, I noticed there was some slight forward bowing on one ofthem. So while the clamps tighten enough to support the weight, if the poles are fully extended I’m not sure they’d be able to really support the weight of a soft box for very long as they started to bow at about half height.I’d definitely recommend using some sort of weight at the bottom. The base is able to hold them but barely. It feels a little flimsy when there’s a soft box. It almost feels like they’d tip if they were knocked slightly.
