I just bought a monopod, and wanted an Arca Swiss type head to make it that much more useful. Spotted this Neewer product, but was slightly suspicious because of what seemed like a low price for something that is usually in the $200 to $300 range (for larger tripods). It arrived this morning, and quite honestly, I was amazed to "feel" the quality of the build, the design is superb, and it has everything and more that I wanted. Even has a level bubble as a guide. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Wer auf Reisen oder unterwegs Wert auf kleines, platzsparendes, leichtes aber gutes Equipment legt, ist mit diesem Fluidkopf nicht nur preiswert sondern auch qualitativ bestens bedient. Gerade wenn es auf geringes Gewicht und kleine Abmessungen geht, ist dieser Kopf sehr zu empfehlen, ohne auf wichtige Features verzichten zu müssen. Schwenk- und Neigungsbewegungen lassen sich damit perfekt und ohne Ruckler durchführen. Sehr empfehlenswert

Ik had niet verwacht dat dit zo goed zou zijn. Toen ik hem per post ontving en uitcheckte, was ik eerst een beetje sceptisch. Toen ik echter mijn statief opzette en de camera erop monteerde, bleek dat ik ongelijk had. Dit kleine hulpstuk is glad en dankzij de verlengde handgreep is het gemakkelijker te bedienen. Het nivelleren gaat snel en eenvoudig. Ik heb het slechts één keer gebruikt, maar was onmiddellijk verrukt over de prestaties. Het enige minpunt is dat de waterpasbel niet gemakkelijk te zien is zodra de camera is gemonteerd en ik mijn statief moest verplaatsen en snel waterpas moest zetten omdat de grond oneffen was. Ik wou dat de niveaububbel gemakkelijker zichtbaar was.Niettemin verdient dit artikel al zijn sterren.

This is a tiny levelling head that is fairly inexpensive so don’t expect miracles here. What you get appears to be a very solid, well made and compact little marvel.It’s quite possible to get smooth movements if you use the right technique. Personally I cup the head and use both hands to control the movement. The pan arm is useful for major adjustments but is awkwardly positioned (where else could it go?) as the head is so small. I would rather the pan arm could rotate sideways, as most do. Clearly Neewer’s designers were constrained by the tiny size of this thing.The levelling part works well but you’ll want your tripod fairly level as there is a limited range of movement in the bowl. It’s perfect in execution but the bubble level (essential) is slightly difficult to see.There are relatively few heads of this size available and in my opinion this one is well worthy of consideration.I feel mean only giving four stars but the pan arm not being able to rotate to the side and its adjustment mechanism is slightly annoying so minus one star.I personally would not put anything heavier than a compact camera or phone on this head. I’m sure it’s robust enough to take a DSLR but I doubt it would be a worthwhile exercise.Keep within its limitations and you should be impressed.

Mala calidad de movimiento de paneo, no es fluido, no tiene resistencia por lo que el movimiento es libre dejando mucho de ser un movimiento de calidad. (Si hubiera sido como el movimiento tilt que presenta una cierta resistencia sería un cabezal excelente)Construcción de calidad excelente.
