As a 30 year professional advertising photographer I've used and abused a lot of grip gear - Matthews, Manfrotto, Gitzo etc. Recently bought a couple of grip heads on Amazon - this Neewer and another brand. This Neewer is heavier, better built and closer to high grade Matthews than the other aluminum version I purchased. It was a couple of bucks cheaper asa well. Recommend it as a serious grip head that will last and function properly.

Der Adapter ist wie beschrieben aus robusten Metall und sehr schwere Ausführung. Was man beachten sollte, ist das Stativ irgend ein Halli Galli Billigstativ kann es sein dass dieses eher unter der schweren Ausführung weg bricht. Also das bitte beachten. Hatten nämlich den Fall bei uns. Ansonsten tolles Produkt nur zu Empfehlen!!!!

this gear head is very sturdy and well built. I use for various rigging attachments in my home studio for lighting. It's helpful to have an extra head like this for creative rigging. i recommend this brand for all rigging needs.

Heavy duty really good totally happyFits multiple sizes from about 18 to 58 i.e. three mil to 16 milDon’t drop one on your toeThe area where it could be improved is there is no rust preventative on the inside of the sleeve for the half inch hole. One side has a half inch hole which has to be used on the other side has all the adjustable sizes, and that half inch hole there’s already a serious coat of rust inside it already and I’m betting if I put it on my nice pristine rods it’ll leave a rust stain, esp if it’s fastened in the one place for any length of time.Also the end of the T bolt which clamps onto that same rod is quite rough which meansWhen it tightened to provide the clamping effect it’ll gouge the finish on the rod unnecessary extent, a rounded end would be better apart from that brilliant.Of course I might just be overthinking it, don’t actually know these things are really going to cause a problem. Reasonable concerns though and I’ll be happier if the end of the clamping bolt were smoother and there was some rust preventative on the inside/it didn’t arrive rusty on the inside of the hole.I’m almost inclined to register the 4x I bought to take advantage of their warranty and ask for a replacement.
