Large and tiny picks, suitable for pretty much anything, great and cheap

This pick set looks of good quality.

A great value pick and scraper set although the finish and edge on the scraper is of poor quality and finish. The large picks are excellent and worth the cost of the product on their own. The small picks are fine for light duty work but if you are going to put them through their paces you might want to grind the end 3 or 4 mm off to strenthen then ends, the points on the small ones are quite fine and will bend under a lot of pressure. The storage tray is pretty good and helps to keep the draws of your tool chest or cabinet tidy.

The Nielsen range always pleasantly surprises me, I never expect much for the price but always seem to get a half decent bit of kit that does the job.Everything has held up well and does exactly what it should, as it should. Haven’t ended up frustrated wishing I bought a more expensive tool to get the job done quicker and better.Nielsen, US pro and blue spot seem to all have pretty much the same gear but just badged differently. Only thing that lets Nielsen down is they don’t have a lifetime warranty like the others do
