This company started out focusing on controllers for Reason, which may have been reasonable at the time, but Reason has more or less been left behind. Still, Nektar has kept up with supporting other DAWs, and I'm using this with Logic. That works better than one might expect, when everything cooperates of course. Most of those controller setup problems probably mostly stem from Logic not this. I have tried many controllers for Logic, none are rock solid, but most are useful.Nektar also have a special plugin host called Nektarine, it comes with the unit free, and you can control your plugins by adding Nektarine as a plugin and scanning and adding your plugins inside Nektarine. This is a great idea too, although it's somewhat limited as it follows the old Reason policy of "MIDI In, Audio Out." Would be great if they allowed Audio In from the sidechain input, and MIDI routing macros that let you control the plugins following your instrument as well. The keybed has somewhat mixed reviews, but I've decided I like it. I completely see the criticisms, the white keys have quite a deep travel, are a bit mushy down, and a bit noisy coming back up. This is explained by the design objective, which is channel aftertouch that's actually good enough to use for once. For decades, aftertouch has been summarily ignored because the keybeds weren't designed for it. This one is, and it works well, without an abrupt all-or-nothing trigger curve. That causes the mushiness. The loud return isn't so very bad. Some people play hard but are afraid of sound and keep their headphones or speakers low, these are the people bothered by this noise. I don't hear it with headphones at a normal 85dBSPL. I don't think overall the keybed is so bad as to reject the unit, but maybe some perfectionists will. There are lots of well-thought out features beyond the controller and aftertouch. There is an expression pedal input as well as sustain; this is a huge win in my opinion and sealed the deal with my choosing this. Expression pedals and aftertouch mean you don't need expensive breath controllers to do two-fisted expression on sustained instruments. The wheels are nice on this too, the pads are great, very convenient shortcuts like shifting the pad octaves quickly, eg for keyswitches. Build is nice for the price. The nice thing about Nektar is, unlike Arturia or NI, they aren't trying to sell you anything but the controller and its needed software, so it works well with virtually anything. I ended up also getting the Panorama P1 so I could add this controller to my Hammer 88 weighted keyboard. I swapped out the fader knobs with standard mixer fader knobs I prefer. The faders start stiff but break in fine. The company has an enormous challenge supporting a giant matrix of DAWs and plugins but is keeping up well. Nektarine and the Logic integration are both Apple M1 Silicon ready. It's all an excellent value and should be carefully considered as you shop for controllers.

Arbeitet perfekt mit Studio One zusammen. Spielgefühl O.K. Preis geht auch in Ordnung. Ich kann das Keyboard ohne Einschränkung empfehlen!

After resolving my initial difficulties with updating the firmware, essential for core functionality, I am thrilled to bits that I did not just return the T6 and, instead, persevered with trying to solve this issue though requiring a complete reset of my laptop's operating system (Windows 10). Giving the glitch-gremlins their marching orders worked a treat and has led me to start a new policy of only using my laptop for my studio in a dedicated fashion. This is highly recommended anyway. The other advantage of having such a dedicated machine is that you can tweak settings to the max switching off a whole bunch of junk bloat that isn't needed and just consumes resources, also eliminating any interruptions from notifications and suchlike. This will help you create the optimum environment for your studio software and enhance workflow.Technical support from Nektar was unreasonably slow to respond to the case I opened by which time I had solved the problem myself. However, they are there if needed and you have time to wait. My problem was an unusual one caused by a corrupted system and not in any way Nektar's fault. The Nektar Panorama T6 is an outstanding piece of equipment that will definitely enhance your studio, but it is not for the faint-hearted, and it is not just a keyboard. It is highly complex and technically challenging controller that requires real commitment to master.Initial findings for this T6 controller are impressive. My DAW is Reaper and the integration software supplied by Nektar augmented by Nektarine (supplied) is seamless opening up a whole new liberating world of control functionality almost making my need to use the mouse redundant. I can pretty much just use the T6 and enjoy watching the screen leap into animated action in response to the keyboard's well conceived array of knobs, buttons and faders. The somewhat graphically dull keyboard screen is great, too, once you get used to it.I am a guitarist with very little experience of keyboards generally but I know a good action intuitively and enough to appreciate the difference between the feel of this keyboard and others I have tried over the years. It is what it is and not bad at all. The sensitivity and feel can be tweaked to change the action but it is a tad clunky compared to high-end dedicated piano-style keyboards. That said, for what it is, primarily a synth and controller, the action is plenty good enough to make the T6 with its 60 keys is a worthy addition to any studio. My own intention is to get a second, properly dedicated 88 key piano keyboard for serious instrumental work.Overall, with decent build-quality and such amazing functionality, the Nektar Panorama T6 is a very serious bit of kit and at low enough price to make it a very cool buy. I cannot fault it so far. It is early days since I received this beast so my review here can only be limited. I will return to update this again later after I have fully familiarised myself with everything this can do. Meanwhile, I intend to have some serious fun with it.It is a concern though that the package was shipped 'naked', visible to all, in the branded box packaging instead of vanilla Amazon brown cardboard, and had been carelessly opened then untidily closed with parcel tape. Not good on either count. I am pretty shocked that Amazon chose this pretty shoddy method of despatch for such a valuable and fragile item, and with the contents of the packaging so exposed it was also not secure. You need to fix that Amazon!
