The needles are pointing inwards which makes the distribution difficult and basically pointless by default. You need to slightly bend them yourself in order to make the tool usable.Update: it was a defect product, received a replacement and the new one is way better!Build quality is quite good.

The pros:- needles are thin enough- comes with a couple extra needles- you can open the thing apart and remove the needlesThe cons:- the whole thing is too heavy for the tiny magnet, so it won't stay in place- the way the holes are made, through where the needles go, makes them all converge to the same point, instead of going away from each other. This results in a clump of ground accumulating between the needles and not separating properly.I ended up removing the needles, cutting some small slits in a cork, glueing a magnet and wrapping it up with electric tape. It doesn't look as sleek as this one, but works much better. I mean, it actually works, while this product doesn't really.

Good price. Works fine as WDT and needles are easy to replace. The magnet on the side is not strong enough to hold up the tool, which I consider a design flaw. Tried sticking it to various steel things including the side of my coffee machine and fridge and it just slides down and hits the floor/counter. Since it doesn't come with a stand, hanger, or storage tube this makes it harder to keep clean and easier to break.

Effective puck preparation tool. Nice design. Good price.
