I actually think it's the most important thing to have at home if you want to automate heating and not waking up at 0600 to setup thermostat from 15 to 18.5... Or you want to control it remotely.It saved me a lot also, because it measures temp in the room 1,5C more than it's actually )The only minuses I would say it has are:- horrible schedule creation in app (seriously the UI is from beginning of 10s)- they don't have option to use secondary sensors (I would love to have one in living room and other in master room to have the average temp between them counted as the target for the thermostat)But still - it's the really good device and it works as promised.

Does what it promises. Its convenient to control it via app. The ecomode is the best feature.

Werkt erg onhandig. Heb hiervoor Toon thermostaat gehad en die werkte super, kon je makkelijk op afstand bedienen en het schema even aan en uit zetten. Bij Google nest moet je via heel onhandig systeem een schema maken en als je even weekendje weg bent of op vakantie gaat moet je het hele schema stuk voor stuk verwijderen om na je vakantie alles opnieuw in te stellen als je het gewoon even op 1 temperatuur wilt houden. Als ik op afstand verwarming aan zet kom ik vaak thuis in koud huis blijkt die het niet gedaan te hebben. Nooit meer, volgende keer weer Toon thermostaat wat veel meer gebruikersvriendelijk is!

La instalación requiere algunos conocimientos de electricidad o electrónica para hacerla bien, las instrucciones están solo en francés o alemán por lo que hay que tirar de esquema eléctrico o buscar algo de ayuda por internet.No lo recomiendo comprar si no sabes nada de electricidad porque puedes estropearlo cruzando voltajes o volver loca a tu caldera e incluso estropearla.Si sabes lo que son 230V, 24V, contacto seco y te atreves a meter un pco de mano a la electrónica de la caldera... lo puedes montar tu mismo en un par de horitas incluyendo las fijaciones a la pared.Visualmente es maravilloso, sólo el tenerlo instalado ya aprecias que es "otra cosa" mucho más allá del clásico cronotermostato.Muy sencillo de usar, se supone que te ayuda a ahorrar (habrá que verlo el mes que viene), pero al menos ya de partida la usabilidad, facilidad de manejo, poder controlarlo desde el móvil y la calidad de los sensores (mide bastante mejor que el cronotermostato que tenía anteriormente, además de darme la humedad que antes no tenía) ya es un paso adelante muy claro.¿Es algo caro? Sí.¿Merece la pena? Yo creo que sí, no me arrepiento para nada de la compra.

I dont know how I lived before this. I can talk to Alexa, use the app from out of house, turn on the heat two hours before I come home, adjust settings when I am traveling - or simply tell it to heat up from across the room.I had a non working unit first, but got one from somewhere else.The smart learning thing is neat, but not if you have a very variable timetable. otherwise it will adjust to you in a few days and sets the temp accordingly.connecting it to a "Gas Durchlauferhitzer" here in austria was a bit of a challange as there is barely any useable info - but it works now flawless connected to a vaillant ecotherm."hey Alexa, how warm is living room?" - "living room has 21°" ... "turn it up to 23!" - "Temperature is set to 23" ... awesome!Build quality is great, it runs smooth looks great at the wall. has a motion sensor - so when I walk by it turns on the display. Userinterface is amazing - so simple ... compared to the insane monstrosity I had before ... it's expensive - but I enjoy every day with it.

I included the cost of installation for the device at time of purchase. The installer provided excellent advice on how to get the best value out of the device.

Ja, es gibt günstigere Alternativen und ja es dauert bis der Mehrpreis für die Nest Thermostate durch Einsparungen erwirtschaftet wird.Und Ja, Nest wurde von Google gekauft.Aber genau das war für mich einer der Hauptgründe um es anzuschaffen.Google weiß wo du dich befindest und kann über dein Verhalten (Bewegungsprofil) Einfluss auf die Heizungssteuerung nehmen.Aber genau das ist es, was Industrie 4.0 ausmacht und intelligente Systeme steuert. Benutzerdate werden erfasst, gesammelt, analysiert und fließen dann in die Steuerung ein.Ich habe 6 Thermostate im Einsatz die die Fußbodenheizung steuern und bin komplett zufrieden.
