He pillado este lector de códigos para preparar una base de datos de productos de Amazon, no he tenido nunca un lector de códigos ni tampoco sabía cómo funcionaba, en realidad ahora mismo no sé muy bien cómo sacarle el máximo partido, pero las pruebas que he hecho con este lector, a funcionado como debía, no sé si será el mejor o peor del mercado, o si es caro o barato en comparación con otros, lo que sé es que es muy rápido y todo lo que le he puesto por delante lo ha detectado.Llega en una caja de cartón kraft, sin ningún tipo de grafismos, una pegatina con el código y la descripción es lo único que se ve en la caja, en el interior el lector, con un cable USB-A doble a RJ45, un manual de advertencias y de instrucciones, ambos incluyen el castellano, completa el contenido de la caja.En cuando al lector, es grandecito, como el de los supermercados, fabricado en plástico, que aparenta calidad, pesa lo suficiente para que no esté de un lado para otro cada vez que se mueva el cable. Las instrucciones son insuficientes para configurarlo si eres una persona inexperta, pensé que llegaría con algún software de gestión o algo similar, pero no, simplemente te lee el código y te escribe la numeración en un excel o word, quizá exista alguna manera de identificar ese producto o tendrías que tener, previamente, una base de datos de los productos para identificarlos.En definitiva, que soy un auténtico neófito en esto, tendré que indagar más para sacarle partido y ver si con el código me sale la descripción del artículo y puedo sacar etiquetas o algo así. I like that this Omni-directional scanner can read barcodes from any angle, making it easy for me to scan packages, envelopes and products quickly and efficiently. It scans really fast which helps us reduce wait times during peak hours. We use it mainly for scanning UPS and Fedex barcode packages and did not have any issues out of the box reading the codes. It can also scan a variety of barcode types, including 1D, 2D, and QR codes. It is Postalmate compatible. I cannot speak of its durability at the moment since this is the first week of use.This scanner easily integrated with our point-of-sale system, all we did is plug in the long cable into a USB outlet and the driver was loaded automatically. It has an extra outlet to connect to other USB. What I like is, it is powered by our computer, so when the computer is off, it is shut down. The price point is more expensive than our other hand-held wireless scanners.The scanner does exactly what it is built to do, as such I will rate it positive for anyone who is considering the need for a hands-free desktop scanner.

This seriously is too easy to use! I took it out the box, plugged it in... flipped through the booklet that came with it and tossed it to the side without reading anything in it. I then scanned some bar codes that were on some products beside me and they instantly registered. I love it! You don't have to manually download drivers and mess with which USB port you are using... Simply plug it in your computer and you are ready to go!The company has a website with expensive trouble shooting and Faqs. They also have free chat support. I tried the chat support in the middle of the night and was surprised to see they actually had someone available with great knowledge of their products. I didn't really need any support since this was literally 'plug and play' but it is nice to know that if the occasion rises, they have easy to access tech support and it seems to be all day and night. Very happy with my new scanner. Thank you!
