Bac à compost gigantesque, design (notre jardin est petit et donc on a directement le nez dessus). La plaque anti-rats à mettre au sol est bien utile. Niveau résistance des parois, ça nous fait un peu peur, les portes de sorties du compost (au sol) n'ont pas l'air très solides, nous verrons à l'usage. Nous l'avons "enterré" d'une quinzaine de centimètres dans le sol avec un dégagement pour les portes de sols, niveau stabilité ça nous paraissait plus sage et vu la hauteur d'accès (les portes pour y mettre les déchets sont sur le dessus) nous ne regrettons pas de l'avoir fait.PS: Après peu de temps, je confirme, la plaque anti rats est particulièrement efficace et un trou pour la stabilité de l'ensemble est à appliquer. Achat génial.

This is a superb product. It is brilliantly designed, and so incredibly easy to assemble. It would be just as easy to Take apart and reassemble too, if I wanted to move it elsewhere. It looks good too. I have had no luck before making successful compost, but this time I'm sure I'm on a winning streak. Withing 24 hours of filling it, the temperature in the middle was 65 degrees celsius, and has stayed there for nearly a week so far, and the contents smell lovely. I bought a cheap 50cm compost thermometer elsewhere on Amazon, and this is invaluable and accurate. The composter has a useful 'hole' moulded into the front for inserting the probe - you just have to pierce the inner wall with a drill. You can leave the probe in place permanently. I note what others have said about the door 'bowing' a bit when fully loaded. this is just a minor 'niggle' . I shall probably clip a long bungee strap around it just in case, or consider pop-riveting a couple of metal clips to make it look a bit more professional. Over all, though, I am so delighted with this lovely composter. I shall probably buy a second one. Fabulous!

Ottimo composter solido e ben fatto. Ho acquistato anche la griglia per la base per evitare la visita di roditori.

Delivery was due from 6 April to 27th. Arrived on the 7th, so from Sunday to Friday, which was great news. Amazingly easy to put together, even if you don't have any German, and seems solid and sensibly constructed. Do have one small part left over which is a bit a mystery!Should have tested the 'hatch' closure mechanism before assembling as now not sure how it locks shut. Also as I'd filled with compost/soil/detritus from a compost heap, the hatch doesn't seem to stay tightly shut, but I'll just pin some bamboo canes or similar in front to keep it firmly closed, and wait and wait....
