Had high expectations to have this flint rod to take on my hikes and camping but unfortunately it doesn't work properly. It doesn't sparks easily making you miss several attempts and with the amount of force you need to apply, the rod falls of from the handle where it seems to be only tucked without any glue or fixant.Also the cord holding the tool is short and makes the movement limited. It would be good if it could be detached.Will return this which is a shame because when you finally get the sparks it is a good amount
