Needed a new kayak camping sleeping bag and so happy that I purchased this sleeping bag. I have two other sleeping bags that are duck down and I love them so much. They have the square foot box, which I prefer. Unfortunately, those were discontinued. I wanted something similar and came across this product. Needed a bag that would be light weight, pack down pretty small and that would keep me warm. This sleeping bag checked off all of those blocks. Temps got down to mid 40s, I slept with a thin cotton sleeping bag liner (mostly to keep bag clean), slept in thin leggings/tshirt/thin socks/beanie and I was perfectly warm. I am a hot sleeper, so I like being a little cooler. Had a light blanket to throw over just in case, but didn't need it. Also used this sleeping bag in my camper van and it was so comfy. Very pleased with this product! The only issue I had was squeezing this baby back into the bag that it came with. I got it back in there the first two times, the third day it was puffing out. I just smashed it down around all my other bedding gear in my backpacking bag.

Der Schlafsack ist super leicht und hat ein kleines Packmaß, wenn er komprimiert ist.Er wärmt auch wunderbar und die Länge ist gut, es fällt nicht auf, dass keine Kapuze dran ist.Einziger Nachteil ist der Reißverschluss, der ruhig etwas länger sein dürfte, außerdem löst er sich unten immer, wenn man ihn zu weit aufmacht, dann muss man wieder einfädeln. Ich werde das mit ein paar Stichen korrigieren.Deshalb nur 4 Sterne

The most amazing ultralight bag for the price.I have two. If it will be below 45 Fahrenheit, I put one inside the other. That is warm down to 25 F easily. I haven't had colder weather to test it in but I would guess the combo is easily as warm or warmer than any brand name zero degree rated bag.Now, whats great is that during the summer, you can just use one. I'm cold hardy and have been happy down to 40 degrees F in just one. Use a wool hat.I would take the doubled up combo version winter camping rather than my sinthetic 0 degree North Face bag if I knew I would have a tent (down isn't warm when wet since it's loft disappears when it's wet).One of these sleeping bags is literally smaller than a quart size water bottle!I have a compression sack that I bought to get it smaller than the one it comes with.I bought two more and now summer camping with our family of five, there is more room in the car from the saved space.

This is the Aegismax Mini bag. I bought the large for my 5'11'' frame, and it fits generously. Note that the "regular" is smaller than typical regular size, and the manufacturer recommends it only for 5'7" and under people. Pros: nicely sewn, well constructed, soft material, light (1 lb 2 oz on my scale), quite roomy- more so than most mummy bags. Cons: fabric doesn't breath as well as most bags, so a bit humid inside. down tubes are narrow and construction is sewn through rather than box, so there are many lines of uninsulated sewing- if tubes were twice as wide there would only be half as many thin lines. And it arrived overly compressed in its stuff sack where it has probably been for months since leaving the factory.Things to be aware of: Very little loft on arrival and did not fluff up much by hand. I washed it by hand (see REI instructions for down bags) and dried with tennis balls on extra-low heat. Highly recommended, the loft doubled! The zipper is very small and several people report it breaking- I can see that, just be careful. I will use my normal (larger) stuff sack, not the tiny compression sack it ships with. Loft=warmth. With just a tee shirt, I was just comfortable, but at the edge, on a 50 degree night. If colder, I would have needed socks and I would have pulled my jacket into the bag for shoulders- with that, maybe 45 might be tolerable but a stretch, but no way any colder. I bought this as a cheap bag for occasional use when temps are too high for my normal 30 degree bag.. As such, it is a good fit for my needs.

Affordable, packs very small and light. Comfy to sleep in. Just don't get it wet (as per all down bags)
