It is of course device a budget device. I would say, the picture is almost as good as a much more expensive device I also own. A major problem is the lagging of the video behind he sound, first you hear talking then somebodies lips start moving, just too late. Also when I use the sound output of the projector itself and connect it from there to the amplifier, there is still a 120ms delay of the video. Impossible to use with DVD or Blu-ray players to watch movies. But with a PC you can install a sound delay filter, set it to 120ms and it is perfect for streaming. When I use Bluetooth speakers, strangely the lagging is in the other direction, the speakers are lagging a little behind the video, not much, but too much for DVD or Blu-ray usage. I tried this with two different Bluetooth speaker sets, which work perfectly with my other device. I used the latest firmware and tried all possible settings. At the the end, I went back to the wired connection and use it with a sound delay filter via PC only. It suits for me, but a little disappointment, I cannot really use my beloved old DVD/Blu-Ray player with this projector.

Was looking for a budget projector that would still have decent quality, was not disappointed in this projector. I can recommend this to anyone looking for their first projector. Great for gaming as well.

After a disappointing experience with the WiMiUS P64 due to a defective remote and lackluster performance, I decided to try the NexiGo PJ40 3rd Gen based on a recommendation from The Hook Up YouTube channel. I’m glad I did, it completely transformed my expectations for budget projectors.The image quality is significantly better. The PJ40 has a much brighter and sharper picture, with more vibrant colours. Both projectors have loud fans, the PJ40’s fan has a less irritating sound. The PJ40 supports a 4K signal at 60Hz (as opposed to the 30Hz limit on the WiMiUS), which makes HDR signals available and is supported as well. Also makes viewing fast-moving sports much smoother (you can actually see the ball :).The PJ40 also supports CEC, so my Chromecast remote can power on the projector and control. To my surprise, the PJ40's remote even controls both my Chromecast and Fire TV Stick.Overall, the NexiGo PJ40 is a much more refined and feature-packed option for a similar price range, and it outperforms the WiMiUS P64 in almost every aspect. I would note that the sound on the WiMiUS was better but I'm using an AV receiver so it does not matter. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an affordable high-quality projector!
