I've tried countless small keychain multitools from various brands, both on and off Amazon, and I can confidently say that Nextool is by far the best. The Gerber Dime used to be my favorite for its compact design and functionality, but I was looking for an upgrade. After trying the Nextool Mini Flagship, I wasn't overly impressed as it felt a bit flimsy compared to other keychain multitools I’ve tested. However, when I got the Mini Sailor (both the scissor and plier versions), I was blown away.These tools are exceptionally well-built—miles ahead of the Gerber Dime and almost on par with the quality of full-size multitools like those from Leatherman. While slightly larger and heavier than the Gerber Dime (about the same size if you include the bottle opener), the Mini Sailor feels much sturdier. The small increase in size and weight is barely noticeable but adds a significant boost in handling and durability.What I appreciate most is that these tools prioritize practicality with no filler features. Both versions have four highly functional tools that I use regularly. There’s never an unused tool, and even the tiny pliers/tweezers on the scissor version prove incredibly handy.Scissors & Performance:The scissors on both versions are exceptional. They are sharp, precise, and can cut through just about anything I throw at them—paracord, zip ties, packaging, you name it. The scissors on the plier version, in particular, are outstanding, rivaling or even surpassing those on the Victorinox Farmer X. On the scissor version, the full length of the blades is usable, with the tip being especially effective for fine cutting tasks.Bonus Features & Tweaks:An interesting hack: the shape of the Philips and flathead screwdrivers is perfect for storing small items like tweezers (e.g., from a Gerber Dime or Victorinox) or even a tiny modified paperclip. It’s a clever way to carry additional functionality without adding bulk.A Minor Flaw:The only downside is the keychain loop. On the plier version, the loop is loose, which can cause it to get stuck when closing the tool. On the scissor version, the loop is part of the tool itself—thin and pointy, which feels less secure. A fixed external keychain loop with a slightly larger hole for a lanyard or paracord would be a great improvement. Adding an optional pocket clip would make it perfect.If these small issues were fixed, this multitool would easily deserve 7 stars. That said, I’m truly happy with both versions of the Mini Sailor and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again in a heartbeat if needed. If you’re looking for a compact multitool that doesn’t compromise on quality or functionality, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Perfekt für unterwegs. Es ist klein genug für den Geldbeutel, und man ist immer gewappnet, falls man mal ein Werkzeug benötigt. Die Verarbeitung ist solide und es wird mich die nächsten Jahre begleiten

A very quick delivery. It feels nice in the hand and cuts rather well with the scissor (better than expected to be honest). I have not tried the cap opener. It seems a bit small to be practical, but it will probably work really well for caps anyways. Screw driver heads work well too. I wish they were centered for practicality, but they still work really well. Pliers work well too. I just hope they hold up for prolonged usage.10/10, would recommend for EDC in countries where knives and blades are illegal, like in my country.
