I bought a new Apple M4 Mac mini. The sound in & out plug socket is on the front where the cable gets in the way of the keyboard. With this little right angle cable I'm able to thread the connection to my external (Amazon) speakers back underneath the mini and keep everything neat. (The stand under the mini is a block of wood I fashioned and covered with a piece of kitchen aluminum foil.)

Great for Player that still requires input power, but you can not fit headphone socket in there, too. This angled 3.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female does a perfect job, without space reduction. Used on old ipod nano! Perfect Partner.
