I know this was mentioned in the product description, but i just wanted to clarify for other purchasers.These do not work for 12Gbps SAS drives. I assumed they would have, but just ran at 6Gbps, but no, there is not enough power provided to the drive. If you need to connect 12Gbps SAS drives, you're best with the cables that have molex adapters built in. I know its harder to cable manage, but at least they work!The cable works great for connecting a SAS HBA to 6Gb SAS drives though and the 50cm cable is long enough even for a full tower case. I like the braiding too, looks nice.

Works as intended. Paired with LSI 9300 (SAS 3008) and link speed is 12 Gbps.NOTE: If you disk does not work at all you may need to drop the 3.3V power (cut the cable, use a 4/pin molex adapter, ...). Google "sata 3.3 pwdis" for more info.
