Before using this construction pencil I was using just your everyday HB school pencils. I was tired of the school pencils always breaking and usually when I was either on a ladder or somewhere I didn’t have a way to sharpen them…The built in sharpener and the holster mean I will always have one on hand and so far the clip has great retentionSo far so good!

It's exactly what I wanted for drawing cut lines on timber and other materials. I'm using the red or yellow colours for marking out as these colour s are much easier to see. The small sharpener really helps to make this a great product. Would thoroughly recommend this carpenter's pencil.
