Un lente maravilloso, es un Wide muy ligero y no hay gran problema con la nitidez

I am gradually changing from Nikon DSLRs to my Z6 in order to lose the FTZ mount eventually as I do not get on with it!This lens is the first of the replacements, mainly for my 18mm ultra wide angle Nikkor F mount version. As the new Z line up does not have a prime 18mm I went for the next best thing, a lens which would zoom through that focal length.I have only really had it out of the box a couple of days, and used it, ironically enough, to photograph the old F mount 18mm for sale. I have to say it performed as expected, as you would expect from Nikkor glass. Crisp edge to edge, lovely bokeh with the aperture wide open and smooth in operation. The only thing I find a little bit weird but am adapting gradually is that it has a 'store' position with the extending part of the lens held close to the camera body. You get to this 'store' position by sort of over twisting it from its longest zoom position. Now I'm used to it it is useful as a space saver and a lens protector.All told, while it is a HUGE change to move from F mount to Z mount, I am glad I am making that change and if the other lenses in the Z range which I have ordered are half as good as this one I shall be a happy bunny indeed!

Tengo este objetivo desde hace 6 meses y ya tengo una opinión clara de este objetivo. Resumiendo en una palabra: calidad.Calidad de imagen de esquina a esquina. Nítido desde f/4 y muy nítido de f/5.6 a f/8 perdiendo ya a partir de f11 por la difracción (tengo una z7). Muy buenos colores. Poca distorsión.Lo he comparado con otros objetivos de similar rango focal que tengo (todos con la montura F "antigua") y sale muy bien parado.Comparado al nikon 16-35 f4 que era mi objetivo para paisajes, este 14-30 le gana en todo. Nitidez, aberraciones, viñeteo... todo mejor en el 14-30. Y en peso y tamaño... no hay color.Si lo comparas con un Irix 15mm, la cosa se pone muy seria, en aperturas f/4, 5.6 gana este nikon 14-30 por muy poco, pero a a f/8 y en adelante el irix da un pelo más de calidad, aunque los colores Nikon son más bonitos.Si lo comparas con los fijos 20mm 1.8 y 28mm 1.8 (ambos de montura f), en centro muy empatados, pero la calidad que dan los objetivos con montura Z en las esquina, como es este 14-30 es muy superior.En construcción, hay gente que le disgusta que el zoom tenga un "modo guardado" que lo deja más pequeño y fácil de trasportar, pues... si no te gusta usar este mecanismo retráctil, no lo uses, lo puedes guardar en el modo con el zoom extendido. Por lo demás, considero que tiene una construcción buena. Objetivo pequeño, ligero y sellado.Asi que, si tienes una Nikon Z y te gusta la fotografía de paisaje, no lo dudes, cómprate este Nikon 14-30 que no te va defraudar, salvo que necesites aperturas mayores.
