Nikon Z fc spiegelloze camera in DX-formaat (20,9 MP, OLED-zoeker met 2,36 miljoen pixels, 11 frames per seconde, hybride AF met focusassistent, ISO 100-51.200, 4K UHD-video)

I wanted a second camera body to better utilise my lenses. I already have a Z50 which I have found to be really easy to use and provide high quality images.I would have been happy to have another Z50, but I could not find a body only option. The ZFC was available as a body only option at a really good price, so I went for it.It is basically a Z50 in a different body shape.I quite like the retro look. I'm old enough to remember when the FE/FM series were new. I had an FE, FE2 and FM2 in my time.The layout of this camera is quite logical and I haven't found anything that annoys me currently. It easy to set controls and I like that you can have the back monitor in a closed position. If I want review photos I look through the viewfinder at the image.I did buy a small hand grip to give me a better grasp on the camera with my big hands.I always used motor drives with the film cameras. I think a battery pack with proper front handle like a motor drive would be a good idea.The camera seems quite solid and robust, although it's not the kind of solid that 1970s cameras were.I've taken several hundred pictures so far and it all seems good. Time will tell if it is a tough long term purchase.

Owned many cameras, from Sony canon lumix Fujifilm and Nikon. Digital is definitely the dominant nowadays but people who spent years with fm2 or f3 or so on are still into the classic period then zfc is perfect. Even though as a beginning camera it doesn't have ois and no 4k60p 10bit 422, Which is normal nowadays, zfc is still sexy. Forget about the parameters, just focus on photography itself and take it seriously to be sexy ;)

Gleich bei der Vorstellung der Kamera hatte ich mich in das Retrodesign verliebt. Und ja, sie sieht wunderschön aus und macht sehr gute Bilder. Dennoch gibt es einen fetten Punktabzug. Es ist mir ein Rätsel was Nikon sich dabei gedacht hat eine Kamera anzubieten die oben wertig und edel verarbeitet ist und ihr dann unten eine billige Plastikabdeckung zu verpassen. Immer wenn ich den Accudeckel öffne um den Accu zu laden habe ich Sorge dass der mir abbricht. Ansonsten ist alles Super. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv einfach, der Autofocus schnell und treffsicher und das Klappdisplay ist ein Traum.
