Bought this spray over a year ago for my first pair of Uggs and wore them *every single day* of winter. I'm a university student with no car, and I live in the snow belt, so I was trudging through sludge every day. They didn't have a single speck of discolouration or salt buildup by spring.It didn't start wearing off until around a year after I initially sprayed them, and I had misplaced this product so I bought one from a different brand. NOWHERE near as effective, and my Uggs started to get salt stains, so I turned around and got this again. Nikwax, I'm sorry for cheating on you. I and all of my roommates have it on all our Uggs now lol.10/10 recommend !! I did around 2-3 even coats (less than 1/4 of the bottle) and sprayed it with sweeping motions, kind of like you would with setting spray. I'd recommend anyone who isn't quite sure to do the same.
