Edit 13 Feb 2022:The odour control isn't really good as I thought it was, the smell lingers after sifting through the sand.My hamster loves it. I've used the other grey sand but due to some supply issues I had to switch to the Niteangel brand and it's wayyy wayyy better. Softer, tinier particles, clumps to pee better and even clumps to poop! Best of all is that it absorbs the pee smell perfectly.One 6lb bag fills up one Niteangel circular sand bath just right. My lil guy practically lives in this sand now.

Gerbils love it. I put the sand in one of Niteangel’s containers. They still manage to get it messy but I use the sifting scoop daily to tidy it up and change it once a week. It may be costly for sand - but in a year of use never caused respiratory issues etc. You pay for quality and safety.

This is the best of a few sands I’ve tried my little fella uses it to bath in plus he uses it to have Jimmy RiddleHa ha he always uses the same spot and it clumps nicely making it easier to spot clean , I highly recommend .

The sand is thicker compared to other sands I've tried which my little guy really enjoys and is better for them anyways. He goes in the sandbox area that I have and uses it daily to clean his fur and to pee.I would 100% recommend it
