This is very cost effective, and does perform it's intended function, but there's a number of things about it that leave me scratching my head.First, I'm not sure why it's metallic grey/silver? It's an accessory that's designed to integrate into camera rigs that are almost guaranteed to be entirely black, so it's likely to stick out like a sore thumb alongside the other parts of the rig.Secondly, the way it connects to rails is... unique, and I'm not sure it's better than the standard way that almost every other 15mm rail accessory I own does it. Instead of having two complete holes that the rods fit through, and then tighten down individually, it has an open bottom on each side and clamps on by tightening only one side of the unit against the rails. In practice, this probably works fine, but it seems somewhat less secure than the regular way, and I'm not sure why.It's very cheap, and so if you need a lens support and don't want to shell out for a more expensive model, this one could be the right choice for you.

It’s super well made! All metal with no plastic parts. It’ll definitely hold up my heavier lenses in my rig. Would love to see it have some type of rubber padding where the lens sits to prevent it from moving or scratching the lens.
