Ottimo prodotto, di qualità e ben rifinito. Peso ideale (420 gr) per giradischi a cinghia con motori di robustezza medio/alta.

Bonjour, ce stabilisateur passe juste sous le capot refermé d'une platine TECHNICS SL-1500C (avec le remplacement du tapis de plateau par une version en liège de 3 mm)… Parfait !… ;-)Correctif et précisions : ATTENTION, avec des disques épais (180 gr), ce stabilisateur touche quand même le dessous du couvercle !… (j'ai dû ajouter de toutes petites cales en mousse de 2 mm sous les deux patins du couvercles et sous ses deux charnières).

Había probado con otros clampers de precio accesible y siempre lo devolvía porque eran un adorno, poco peso sólo para la foto. Este sin ser el más pesado que he palpado es pesado, ayuda de verdad a estabilizar los vinilos. uno de los aspectos que más me gusta es que suele cubrir sobre el 70-80% de la etiqueta del disco, esto ayuda a que la trasferencia de peso abarque la superficie completa del vinil. Tengo dos tocadiscos, uno de tracción por correa y otro de motor directo, en ninguno de los casos el peso afecto las velocidades de reproducción.

I bought this due to the many folks touting the benefits of such a device. I had Amazon Prime points that I used, so it cost me a whopping $0.83 to find out. I have two turntables, one is belt drive and the other is direct drive. I have tried it numerous times listening to parts of different selections over and over, weight on, weight off. I have been able to hear no appreciable difference, if any difference at all. One thing to note, it has zero effect on turntable speed, on either of the tables I have. I even tested it on both turntables while they were turning, holding it over the spindle, just off the record and dropping it on the record as they played. No difference.One thing to look out for is if you are used to playing with the dust cover on and closed, make sure it clears the weight! On my SL-23, (which was absolutely pristine) I put it on, started the record and put the lid down, just like always. I kept hearing this funny chsss, chsss, chsss and realized it was barely scraping the top of the dust cover. It left a fine little scrape ring on the inside of the dust cover...my first scratches on it and I bought it new in 1976! I was kinda bummed.I have given it five stars because it is well made, has a nice finish and is a cool looking piece of metal. I now use it to keep my "On the Turntable" album covers in place for photos I share with a FB Group. It will also make a very nice paper weight.
