NA-SRC7 header

De NA-SRC7 is een accessoireset voor ventilatoren bestaande uit drie volledig gesleevede NA-RC7 Low-Noise Adaptors (LNA) voor 4-pins Noctua PWM-ventilatoren. Indien geschakeld tussen ventilator en voedingsbron reduceren deze adapters het toerental en de geluidsproductie van de ventilatoren. De NA-SRC7 is ideaal voor het afremmen van ventilatoren in Noctua’s redux-lijn. Niet geschikt voor ventilatoren in de Noctua industrialPPC-lijn.

  • Gebruik nooit één Low-Noise Adaptor om meerdere ventilatoren af te remmen. Gebruik altijd één adapter per ventilator.
  • De NA-RC7-adapter mag niet gebruikt worden met ventilatoren die meer dan 2,5W vermogen vereisen.

Especially good if, like me your pc is stock and doesn't allow fan control via software or bios and you dont want to bother wiring in a fan controller. Simply reduces voltage to the fan and makes it turn slower = quieter. My 60mm fans in a USDT HP EliteDesk were noisier than I wanted despite swapping them for super quiet ones. Intake and exhaust fans RPM was reduced from 1600 to @1100 with no impact on pc temps...Cool ; )

Pros:- Cables are sleeved so they hide the coloured wires on the inside- Each cable feel very premium- Comes with a 6-year Warranty- They let you to run your fans slower than the BIOS would allow you, helping you to create a fan curve that is quieter.Cons:- The cables come with a brown and white Noctua sticker on them and it would have been nice if they would have put their branding on it in a more stealthy way. But, this sticker is easy to cut off and remove.- Personally I believe that the box they come in is overkill for the cables that are included inside it. But, I understand they are trying to make it a premium product.I have not had any issues with Noctua in the past, which is why I continue to be willing to pay the premium for their products. So, I would definitively recommend and would buy again.

My motherboard is only offically windows compatible and since Ive switched to Ubuntu my fans are always at 100% which is extremly annoying. With these adapters they go really quiete but performs really good. Im really satisfied that they dont require any proprietary software bs. 10/10 for my use case.
