De NH-D15S chromax.black is een volledig zwarte uitvoering van Noctua's bekroonde, stille NH-D15S high-end processorkoeler. Dankzij hetzelfde asymmetrische dual-tower heatsink-ontwerp en een enkele NF-A15 PWM-ventilator houdt hij vast aan de succesvolle formule van de NH-D15S om dual-tower-prestaties te koppelen aan uitstekende compatibiliteit met RAM, PCIe en PC-kasten. Door het asymmetrische ontwerp is de heatsink van de NH-D15S in standaard-oriëntatie in de richting van de bovenrand van het moederbord geplaatst. Hierdoor wordt het bovenste PCIe x16-slot op de meeste actuele µATX- en ATX-moederborden vrijgehouden.

I really love this CPU Cooler... The design is appealing, its quiet and more compatible with RAM that the non S version. I added a second fan for esthetics and the advantage of running a few degrees cooler.I think this is one of the best air coolers i had. I's currently cooling a Ryzen 9 5900x 12 core processor. Idle temps are around 35 Celcius, with normal usage stretched to max 60 Celcius and maxed out with gaming to 74 Celcius. No complains!

I purchased the Noctua CPU air cooler specifically for my Ryzen 7800X3D. It delivers effective cooling performance, though the installation process can be a bit challenging. The provided instructions are decent, and the premium black finish adds a touch of elegance. Additionally, it's compatible with AM5. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Dopo aver avuto un'ottima esperienza con un dissipatore Noctua in passato, ho deciso di affidarmi nuovamente a questo marchio per il mio nuovo setup e ho scelto il modello NH-D15S chromax.black. Cercavo un dissipatore ad aria performante e silenzioso per il mio nuovo processore e devo dire che questo modello ha superato le mie aspettative.Innanzitutto, l'imponenza del dissipatore è evidente fin dalla confezione. Le due torri di raffreddamento e la ventola NF-A15 cromax.black da 140mm fanno subito capire che si tratta di un prodotto di alta qualità.L'installazione è stata semplice e intuitiva, grazie al sistema di montaggio SecuFirm2, marchio di fabbrica di Noctua. Le istruzioni sono chiare e dettagliate e non ho avuto alcun problema a montare il dissipatore sulla mia scheda madre.Una volta acceso il PC, ho potuto apprezzare la silenziosità di questo dissipatore. La ventola NF-A15 è estremamente silenziosa, anche sotto carico intenso. Il mio PC è diventato molto più silenzioso rispetto a prima e posso finalmente concentrarmi sul lavoro o sul gioco senza essere disturbato dal rumore.Le prestazioni di raffreddamento sono eccezionali. Il mio processore è sempre rimasto a temperature molto basse, anche durante sessioni di gioco prolungate o rendering video. Il dissipatore è in grado di dissipare il calore in modo efficiente, mantenendo il processore fresco e performante.Devo dire che questo dissipatore è un degno successore del modello che avevo utilizzato in passato. Noctua ha saputo migliorare ulteriormente le prestazioni e la silenziosità dei suoi dissipatori, offrendo un prodotto di altissima qualità.

This thing is a beast. It's big sure, but if your machine is under a desk, you'll never see it, and more importantly, you'll barely even hear it. Even at full speed this thing is quiet, and a whole lot quieter than your GPU fans will be.It has a sensible, easy to use mounting system, and includes a long screwdriver to reach the retention screws. It also includes extra fan mounting springs, a fan splitter, and a low noise adapter. Includes noctua thermal paste enough for 2 or 3 applications.It outperforms most AIO systems, including the 280mm nzxt x73 I had before this. And it does it whisper quiet. Having it as the chromax variant means it's not all brown and shiny behind your window case.My only minor gripe is that attaching the fans to the heatsink is fiddly in smaller cases due to clearances. Also if you plan on fitting a 2nd fan to it, forget RGB ram. With a single center mounted fan it has clearance for even the tallest or ram, but adding a 2nd fan over the ram slots will foul. Though I never bothered. Would buy again.
