PACKAGING: Clear, press seal bag.PRODUCT: Hot dish tongs.FUNCTION: The tongs came wrapped in cellophane and were packed in a re-sealable clear plastic bag. The tongs are made from stainless steel and they have a silicone upper pad, and a small silicone pad at the end, ensuring a soft, tight grip.The stainless steel had several marks over it and if there is such a thing as cheap, stainless steel, then this would be it. It is not a utensil I would have on display. Having said that, it does function. I use it to lift silicone liners out the air fryer, or food trays out the air fryer. No more burnt fingers. It would probably work better as a pair though.At the time of this review (February 2025) the hot dish tongs were £7.89. I think this is a little over-priced, but they do the job intended.

I was sceptical but work really well. Good quality and grip heavy bowls nicely. Not so good getting dishes out of the air fryer due to size.

These non-slip dish tongs are really useful for getting things out of the air fryer or hot plates out of the microwave. BEWARE though, you need to make sure it's positioned right and grips the item properly before lifting it out otherwise it will slip off the grips and fail ... I learnt from experience!! In hindsight, two of them would be better but as it is, it's still pretty useful when used with an oven glove or silicon holder.
