First point - don't make the mistake that another reviewer did! Do not tie your dog's line onto the hoop! Attach directly to the bicycle as it shows in the instructions.This product is a guide to keep the line away from the front wheel if it goes slack and it does that really well. It is not meant to take the full strain of your dog(s) pulling you along.You can fit this yourself, if you are already familiar with fitting and adjusting aheadset type stems and bearings, otherwise take it to a bike shop, it's a 5 minute job for them. Getting this wrong is genuinely risky for you and your dogs.The only niggle I have is that I ride without dogs most of the time, so want to remove the antenna often. That requires undoing two grub screws that are hard to access on the underside of the clamp, round off easily and work loose and drop out if not tightened again after the antenna is removed. I've swapped them for normal cap screws so I can use a larger ball headed Allen key and do some of the tightening with my fingers. But it's still a pain to do this. Something that clips and unclips would be better.If I knew that before I bought it, I would have gone for the other version also made by N-S DW which clamps onto the handlebars, with a quick release button, so it's easier to fit the clamp, and easier to pop on and off as needed. This seems to be THE antenna that's out there if you want to bikejor with your dog. I'm one of those people who wants to know what ALL of my options are before I make a decision. I literally scoured and researched and dug through threads and bikejoring pages to see if it was better to build your own vs purchasing one. I DID make my own out of a noodle and it worked pretty well for a while...but seriously folks....I can tell you if that I've done the heavy lifting for you. If you want to bypass all the research and trials, you can trust me: just go ahead and order this bad boy! It's hearty, it's stable, it's strong, it's flexible but not flimsy, it does its job, it never gets in your way, it's easy to install. I have a Salsa Mukluk fat tire bike and was concerned as to the way this antenna fit onto the frame and if it would fit on my bike since it's not a "standard" bicycle. I looked and looked and never completely got my question answered, but I've seen plenty of pics of fat bikes with this antenna on them, so I just decided common sense dictated it must not be an issue or I would be reading about it somewhere. It's not an issue! This doesn't install AROUND the frame; it installs right ONTO the frame! You actually take the handlebars off, sit this guy down onto the post and then sit the handlebars back down over it! I'm NOT a bicycle mechanic and I got it taken care of, even without youtube or anything. :-) My dog is a German Shorthaired Pointer and she's a powerhouse. If you're familiar with GSPs, you know they're smart....but they are strong! She's becoming a great bikejorer but she doesn't always run directly in front of me. That was another concern I had before purchasing. NOT an issue! This antenna's spring allows side-to-side give and flex and it will also actually shift around slightly if it needs to. You can manually shift it back to center if you want, or it will organically move back to center on its own as you ride and the dog moves around. It's not loosey-goosey (unless you install it that way I suppose) but it has a little give. This is just a GREAT piece of equipment and probably, aside from my bike, my most valued piece of outside activity equipment! It allows me to engage in my dog's favorite sport WITH her!!

Stabil, einfache Montage, leider ist ist die Öffnung zu groß für mein pegasus Fahrrad. Mit etwas Schweißen ließ sich das auch beheben. Das Fahrrad fahren macht jetzt richtig Spaß ohne Angst das sich die Leine im Vorderrad verfängt.
