Smaller than I expected but it will due.

I am impressed with its sturdiness, how bright the spot bean and flip-up flashlights are, how rich the speaker sounds and the sturdy feel of the hand crank. The tuning knob is a bit stiff on mine, but the radio seems very sensitive for this price. Weather radio tuning is very forgiving, which helps you tune to your local WX station even in the dark. I have purchased hand-cranked weather radios before, and I like this one the best! Overall very impressed with this unit.
