After quite a bit of research I decided to buy these North west walking boots:a) because having read bout goretex boots they all seemed to suffer from cracking or leaks after a period of timeb) the good reviews of these boots which are leatherc) they seemed to have good room / widthd) excellent value for money.e) good soles and ankle supportMy experience so far after wearing them for a week is that they are indeed exceptional value for money and I highly recommend them.First of all the fit - I have size 10.5 feet and bought the size 11 boots. There is room both in width and length but I like insoles and thick socks and with these on the fit is perfect.The ankle and sole support - I walk in the forest tracks and woods in the south of Scotland with our three springer spaniels. The terrain is a mixture of very rocky tracks, streams, damp and muddy woods and fields with very uneven ground. I find the boots provide great support around my ankles and the soles protect my feet well from the rocky paths. Also my feet have been dry despite the torrential rain we have recently had. I also found the grip to be good on hilly slopes (not tried rocks yet).Surprisingly I find the boots quite light - yet solid. My only slight issue is that the laces are quite thin although a spare pair are included in the box.I clean and naturally dry the boots after every walk and use clear dubbin to maintain the leather and seal - time will tell how hard wearing they are.In summary for the price they are exceptional value and comfort.I walk at least four to 6 miles every day

Bought these boots after a search and extensive reading of reviews and ratings. I can honestly say in the first 30k of walking these are so comfortable and waterproof. The walking is mostly through fields and forests and is often wet and sloppy. The grip these boots give me over my other boots is unbelievable. My walks are more enjoyable having dry comfortable boots with great grip. Highly recommend

I don't often review products but I feel these boots deserve a good one.I bought them mainly for walking the dogs through wet grass and muddy ground and they've kept me warm and dry every time.I proper hate getting wet feet and after 6 months or so they still haven't let me down.Took a few weeks to wear in the tongue area but since they've softened in that area they've been really comfortable.I like to use memory foam insoles with walking boots and these boots accepted them no problem.Look pretty smart with jeans too so all in all very happy with them.

Putting a few miles into them you can feel a Instant quality both visually and physically. A good strong matrial as produced from recycled Industrial grade leather and the oxe blood red are a great colour. They hug your anckles well feel secure and solid but it's great that my feet can breath allowing for a thick pair of socksPackaged and well presented nice touch 👌
