ok so now i have had these shoes for a bit, will write again after a couple more months in regard to sole wear, but so far the shoes in general are still comfortable, other then the fact the quality is not the best by any means. The tongue in the shoes are very poorly constructed, and the tongue in the left shoes is shorter then the right which gives a odd feel to the shoe. The top of the right shoe in the toe area , the material hard to explain but looks to be off an is slightly bunched up. As per others whom reported about the laces, for the very short time i have had these shoes, the laces are already garbage, an that is because of the type of eyelets being used an the inside edge of the eyelets are not smooth, which also makes it very difficult to tie the shoe properly as the laces do not move smoothly through the eyelets. I see now why they sent a second set of laces with the shoes. As of this review, these shoes are not worth the 55 dollars i paid , as i see they have increased the price. The issue with the laces is a very bad problem an makes these shoes more of a pain in the butt to be a repeat buyer. Decent looking shoe, but far to many quality issues. The only solution to make these shoes as they should be, will be to put out more money for my shoie repair guy to change out the eyelets, cost will be somewhere around 30 dollars, which puts these shoes at a cost of aprox 90 dollars, an definately not worth that when you have to go an have the shoes corrected. edit now that i have these shoes since june, the insole is no longer soft, its just flat, the laces i have had to replace twice as eyelets just destroy them. Not sure where people come up with this water proof other then the sole. These shoes have now gone up almost a full 20 dollars an they have done nothing to fix the lace problems an now right where the foot bends is starting to show small crack. There is no way this shoe is what people are calling a quality made shoe. Pretty obvious paid for comments.ok so update: use these shoes for walking my dog 2x a day, already the tread has worn down significantly . There is absolutely no reason for why the price of this shoe has increase 20+ dollars, at best a 35/45 dollar shoe. Get the same quality out of wally world for less.

So I've had these shoes for about a year. They are okay to walk around in. The supplied laces are too short. I have found that if I tie them too tight, they are painful to wear. They dig into the top of the foot. When I went to a movie with reclining seats, I had to take off the shoes. With your feet up, they dig in even harder. I actually have a bruise on one of my feet from this.
