Good design, feels comfortable in the hand. If you just plug the usb into the Mac without opening the software. The remote works right away, but if you want to customize the features you need to open the app. Super quick and simple to customize. Not too bad on price comparing it to more expensive presenting remotes with cheap red lasers. Green is easier to see.

Geniales Teil! Ich werd noch eine Weile brauchen, bis ich die ganzen Features alle sicher in einer Präsentation einsetzen kann! Die Grundfunktionalität - grüner Laserpointer und nächste Folie - gehen natürlich sofort. Super ist die Kopplung per Bluetooth, für mich der Haupt-Kaufgrund. Das gefummele mit den USB-Steckern fällt einfach weg. Sollte der Presenter doch mal an einem anderen Laptop eingesetzt werden: kein Problem, USB-Stecker ist ja trotzdem immer dabei.Liegt gut in der Hand, fühlt sich wertig an, angenehme Größe. Software war einfach zu installieren, leider nur auf Englisch. -> Aber insgesamt: Gut so!

Ich hatte vorher schon den 95s und mein „China-Gadget“ begeistert mich immer wieder. Der Presenter kann alles was man bei anderen teuer erkaufen muss nur weil die einen tradierten Namen in der Tech-Welt haben. Der 97er hat einen grünen Laser den man weiter sieht als den roten. Die habtik ist gut, da er endlich zum Großteil aus Metal besteht. Er ist gut verarbeitet die Switchknöpfe könnten etwas freier im Gehöuse liegen. Die Bluetooth-Anbindung ohne Dongle ist super und zum switchen der Folien kann man ihn sogar mit einem iOS Gerät koppeln, leider muss man dann auf die anderen Features verzichten. Ich bin mit dem Teil rundum zu frieden gerade für den Preis und würde den jedes mal wieder kaufen.Klare Empfehlung von mir.

Uses a piece of software (installed or portable.exe) to do special functions like the Mouse Left Click which I find essential in my application. I tried to use the Customizer in the software to bind eg. the F6 key to the remote but it didn't seem to work for me, no matter if I pressed the button I bound to F6, the software I was using it on didn't register an F6 press, but mouse-click worked fine. So I have to ding it a star here, the software could be a little more reliable. If I had reliable button-binds on the remote I could have 4-5 remote software functions away from my laptop, with just a mouse-click, I only have 1, and I have to remember to hover the mouse over the button I need before I walk away - and if I hold the button down to long, it will move the mouse out of position (long press drags the mouse around the screen based on an accelerometer in the remote)I was really looking to pair this with a Bluetooth 5.4 150m antenna I found on Amazon also however when I got to the field with our laser measuring equipment the antenna was temperamental and didn't want to work, so I had to use the laptop's inbuilt Bluetooth 5.3 antenna, which ostensibly is good up to 100 meters. Well, using the laser measuring equipment I told the laptop to keep recording my position away from the equipment using the Left Click function on this N97s remote, in a non-ideal environment (a reinforced concrete production facility, lots metal and EM noise sources and obstacles) and while I did lose some reliability at extreme range, the signal to the laptop was very reliable at least up to 50m and spotty but useful at the extreme of 86-87 meters, but considering this remote was rated for 50m to start, getting over 30% better performance out of it using an inbuilt laptop antenna is a significant win in my book. For our application the farthest we need to be able to reach with a remote signal would ideally be ~260 feet, so this actually works great for our needs, and if we figure out the 150m 5.4 USB antenna, we should be all set I would assume to go even farther distances that what I was able to validate for in this test case. This is significantly farther range than we get with the laser equipment's own bespoke IR remote, which barely manages more than 100 feet before it starts to mis-read button signals and starts doing things you didn't tell it to do. Bluetooth with Coded PHY seems to be much more reliable at not misinterpreting signals, it either 'hears' the signal or it doesn't.Comes with a very nice hardshell zip-up case to fit everything, even manage to snug-in the external antenna we bought to accompany it.
