The arms / hands where you hang your tablet in, is pretty wide. I've actually been using this with my steamdeck, which just fits. The stand has some weight to it, so it's still very stable. Good build quality and the hinges stay perfectly stable. Feels like a stand that will last me a lifetime. Much better then a cheap (action) stand. Would buy again.

Heavy duty metal stand holds weight with ease, stays in place. When you set it and place a tablet or phone on it, it doesn’t slump or fold over on itself, it’s very sturdy! There are four rubber buttons on the bottom to keep it from slipping, as well as four rubber squares where the device is placed for the same reason. It folds to about 3/4” for storage. This is a very nice product, I would value it at $20 for quality, I only paid $13 I believe?

I didn't expect too much from this compact portable stand when I ordered it. There are just so many stands on Amazon that one gets confused and suspicious of many and I for one like to read reviews before buying. This particular one lived up to all hopes and I was lucky!Quite compact but not a pushover .. sturdy enough to take my 10.5" Samsung S6 tablet with its cover on. My tablet is thin however and not very bulky, yet it was impressive that it could take it in with its cover without any problem at all. You can adjust the back and front angles and they stay adjusted without any give at all. Extremely convenient for the table top scenario where you can have it on the side or in front of you for access .. I use my tablet a lot to read comics and watch youtube and streaming, so this was super to have it on my side and I can work on the PC at the same time.Very good value compared to more expensive models that really don't do all that much in my opinion. It is always better to have something practical and compact and something that feels reliable .. and this does all that easily. The finish of the product also looks refined in black and I prefer blacks as it is out of the way and invisible when you are watching movies etc.No regrets at all .. this one is a keeper and works well in bed too. When not in use, it folds up flat, no worries. Will easily take up to 12" tablets .. if you have like a 14" one then have a closer look .. it will still take it I reckon but you may need a bigger rig. All the best!
