I have tried bunch of wireless keyboards - from brands like Logitech and Razer. I am a sucker for low-profile boards about which the market is rather undersaturated. Nuphy's crammed design never would have been my first pick given the beauty of Logiitech G915 TKL or DeathStalker V2Pro. It does not even come with pre-installed shine-through keycaps (those needs to be bought extra).Whilst the general looks are very subjective, the Nuphy is a clear winner when it comes to customization options over Logitech and on par with Razer which also delivers hot-swappable keyboard. Problem with Nuphy however starts exactly where overpriced Razer's board also struggles and that is in delivering consistent 2.4 connectivity without hiccups. The problem starts to intensify and already becomes problematic at 2+ meters away from dongle. Since Nuphy dropped their attempt of own customization and updating console, one has to go to in somewhat technical waters of QMK/VIA to be able to flash new firmware. Alas, the there is also a need to update the radio firmware separately and it takes a lot of time to get into this if you are not the overly technical type versed in githubverse.Anyway, in my case no matter what combination of firmwares I tried I have only achieved so-so functionality away from dongle and abysmal connectivity on Bluetooth.Another massive stepdown is that VIA although used by almost the entire custom boards community is a rather weak app which is not capable to customizing RGB color profiles per keycap, basically one of the major requirements of mine - you have to deal with random rainbow effects or a solid color across the entire keyboard which is less than optima. Keyboard is also not compatible with OpenRGB, so that is what you are getting right now.Also mere 1year of warranty is not giving me much hopes this kb will last.

I love this keyboard and might order their larger size. I got it because I wanted something more slim to fit in my laptop bag. The multi connection works great. The switches from the get go are fairly decent. I bought my girlfriend a cheap branded keyboard that I honestly like more for performance that is heavier, larger, etc. but has more flex. Not as good of switches on the other brand but that’s adjustable. I type faster on the cheaper keyboard by 10-20wpm but I prefer the shorter stroke on the supplied switched of the you. But consider that was at 1/3 of the cost. I feel the cost of this for my use case 100% worth it and the battery has lasted decent. I do wish a usb c to c cable was included as it’s commonly used for MacBooks. But it’s not a huge deal. I had an issue with a missing part that I may have lost. Support was prompt and offering to send me the 2.4ghz adapter without asking much info. And they were prompt to respond. Greet support overall.I would like to try their other switches and I love that they have some sample units. I wish they had a kit of more per switch to try out for those of us that like a different switch per key to try out.Eventually I want to try one of their Hall effect based ones. And a full size for my daily use.

Best keyboard I’ve ever used. Love the feel.

Ordered 2 of these, one with red switches and another with cowberry. One arrived with slightly torn outer packaging and both keyboards had scratchy sounding switches and various degrees of wireless connectivity issues (missed & repeated strokes when adapter is placed less than 50cm away). No response from NuPhy support.
