Like this so much as it holds the material very tight.

There's zero tension on the fabric that's next to the clamp. The tension wire wraps all the way around, except for like 2" beside the clamp. The rest of the fabric has even tension, though. Also it's really hard to put the fabric on evenly with just two hands. I need a helper to get the fabric placed correctly while setting the hoop. Also when you squeeze the clamp hard enough to actually do the thing, then your hands get all red and dented because you have to squeeze really hard.That said, I could see this product being useful for someone since it does indeed tension the fabric evenly except for those 2 inches. This is not for me, though. You're not supposed to leave fabric on the hoop when not in use, and I do not want to wrestle with this thing every time I pull out a project. Wooden hoops are easier, even though they are a little fussy to tension evenly.

Finally. An embroidery hoop that stays taut. It took a couple of minutes to figure out, but we’ll worth it.1. Start in flat surface2. Put outer ring on table3. Turn fabric right side down on top of ring4. Squeeze inner ring and place on top of fabric and inside outer ring and release.Voila’Love it. Only using bamboo ones for crafts

Works perfectly, and provides wonderful tension. Less staining and damaging to fabric than wooden hoops in my opinion. I would order this again.
