Nuvo Student Flute 2.0 blackThe item arrived in the date expected, complete and in good order.I am a long-term amateur musician, playing mainly flute and tenor and soprano saxophones.The flute is used as an always ready instrument for daily practice, saving my expensive Altus flute.The sound produced is good, with much lower projection than a metal flute, which is very convenient for home practice without causing too much trouble to neighbors.I think that is a good alternative for starting the flute playing, and if the interest remains, can always be used for holidays or other occasions where a metal flute could suffer damage.For my daily practice has been very important enabling to play in the available few spare minutes in the day, without worrying with maintenance. As always there is some time to adapt to the embouchure, variable with flute playing experience, but to me it is easy to go from low C to 3rd octave A. The flute is very light weighted, and the mechanism seems robust, and maintenance easy.In conclusion, an excellent acquisition to enable me to increase the frequency of my flute practice with a very affordable price and complete set of accessories.Recommendations: the G# key could be more robust and the case smaller. The flute embouchure can be a bit slippery, but a piece of matt adhesive tape can easily solve the problem.

Une flûte toujours prête à l'emploi, qui joue très bien sur trois octaves et permet même de toucher les 3 premières note de la 4eme octave avec beaucoup d'expérience. Cette flute à révolutionnée ma pratique quotidienne car elle est toujours disponible et sans grand besoin d'entretien. Prendre, jouer,déposer et partir faire autre chose. On peut sans crainte partir à la plage, à la piscine, en randonnée, en forêt etc....sans rien à craindre. Bravo Nuvo !!!!

Ho provato questo flauto per quasi 3 settimane, dopo un altro preso qui più o meno stessa fascia di prezzo che però mi aveva causato allergia ( nichel?) . Ho deciso però di fare il reso. Bisogna capire cosa si vuole.Punti di forza:-leggerezza-praticità-morbidezza dei tasti-non necessita di pulizia accurata ad ogni sessione ( un'asciugata e lo lasciate in giro per casa)-adatto a bambini ( ma il suono con l'apposito boccaglietto per bambini è una schifezza!)- suono decente, in alcuni punti bello: belle le note basse, bene fino alla seconda ottava, suono carino, per un bambino, per cominciare senza fare una spesa ingente, per vedere se piace lo strumento.-economico-lavabile con acqua-all'apparenza, molto resistente...non una plastichetta-custodia rigida, pannetto per pulirePUNTI NEGAtIVI :-intonazione ( troppo imperfetta, il flauto nichelato da 80 euro in confronto era mooooolto più intonato)-note acute terza ottava ancora più stonate e di non facilissima emissione- suono non paragonabile per me alla bellezza dello strumento in metallo.-la chiave del sib secondo me aveva un piccolo difetto ( si muoveva un pochino, ma lo strumento era già usato)In conclusione: lo restituisco perché il suono non è bello come mi aspettavo ma soprattutto perché non sufficientemente intonato. Trovo però sia lo strumento perfetto per un ragazzino, adatto ad essere un po' maltrattato, perfetto per scuole ( scuole medie, questo è troppo grande per un bambino, per i bimbi c'è il jflute che è ritorto), per vedere per un annetto se lo strumento davvero piace e si può fare un investimento migliore.Questo poi non sarà forse stata comunque una spesa inutile e rimarrà al futuro flautista come strumento "da esterno"...d'altronde si può portare anche in spiaggia o suonare sotto la pioggia senza preoccupazioni!

I play an intermediate silver Dizhao 501 concert flute and wanted to have a readily available, reliable, inexpensive backup flute that I don't have to clean and maintain meticulously after each practice, a flute that I can leave by the music stand, throw in the car, or travel with. The Novo student flute fits the bill perfectly. Not only does it play all the 3 useful octaves very well (I rarely play the 4th octave) The Novo Student flute also seems sturdy, yet very light and comfortable to hold. The tuning is great and I love the woody tone.This flute would be a perfect choice for a beginner, maybe someone who wants to self-teach, or a doubler like me (plays sax, melodica, harmonica, ukulele, piano) who wish to try a good workable concert flute without putting in a big investment and not having to worry about getting a used non- playable or poor quality flute, then ending up with unexpected very expensive repair or overhaul cost that can be several times more than the quite reasonable cost of this flute. I can not comment on long term durability but knowing instruments well enough, it looks like this flute could withstand reasonable use, and if it no longer works, getting a replacement would not hurt at all given the inexpensive cost and great value.Update: Excellent customer support experience from both Nuvo International and the seller Hour Loop- both responded by email within 48 hours! I contacted both by email regarding the missing tiny lip plate removal tool which was missing- no doubt during packing as the box and other accessories were unopened. I didn't want to return or exchange this great playing flute through Amazon (per protocol) just to get a small non vital part, so I contacted the seller and Nuvo directly. Brittany from Nuvo is sending the missing part immediately! Talk about great service. Highly recommended!
