Been looking for one of these for millenia. You'd think you could find one anywhere around pumps, or pipes for, but no, took me ages to find what I wanted. Now I got it I believe it's going to be well efficient. It arrived on time, in perfect condition. Some home assembly was necessary but you won't need your toolbox or a vast amount of brain cells to complete the task. Just be careful when assembling cos the clips aren't very strong. I'm going to use it tmoz on my bro's fish pond. As pond only has sediment in it, not debris, I can't see the filter having a mal during its most basic of functions so should be a boss job. Gona have to use another filter/strainer between primary and pump cos pump is a clean water high speed bilge pump, not for use with swamp water.

I've been looking for a pond pump strainer for years so was glad to have seen this one on Amazon. You may need to cut the reducing inlet to fit your pump. It didn't fit my pump even after cutting but I've taped it using Gorrilla tape and it's been doing the job for a month now and the pump has not clogged up.
