This is very lightweight and feels lovely and soft against your skin. The medium seemed fine for my 40" chest and was long enough without being too long. It seems to do a decent enough job of wicking sweat away from your skin and is very quick drying after a wash.If you want a sleeveless active top, then this is as good as any, and is a decent buy if the price is right. I also use it as a vest top under casual shirts and it works well as that too.

On the box, this is described as 'active sports underwear', but it generates a lot of heat, and I wouldn't want to wear it under anything else. The fabric is made of polyester and polypropylen [sic] which is very light, and soft on the skin, but has a warning to keep it away from fire. Although this is described as 'medium', on the box it translates this as UK size 33-34, which is not most people's idea of the term; I found it a little snug, therefore, but there's plenty of room under the arms, and it isn't tight around the neck; I also find it a little short, as it only reaches to the groin. The wash temperature is given as 40 degrees - but everything else I own is washed at 30, so this will be bunged in with the rest. I wore it indoors as a top for about 45 minutes on a warm day, and then I had to take it off as I was too hot. It may do outdoors when there's a bit of a breeze, as I do like the plain appearance of the garment, but it won't rank amongst my favourites.
